I'm new in this area, well I just would like to know if I edit the file : syssetup.inf

Should I Install The windows XP with out a reboot.. I mean Just Update with out put the S>E>R>I>A>L # by my self??, I just know how to do it using nLite :dribble: ; but like this only works making Boot and formatting The Hard Drive. and I want it to works both ways.

well editing the syssetup.inf

i don't understand how would it install XP without reboot

it's not possible as i know

but about the serial part

you would need to type it in winnt.sif

more info here

or use nlite to do that for you

i don't know if that what you want or not

but after you edited your post do you want to enter the serial

so it would be silent when you install from another windows or ?

What I want to Know is:

Thanks means... for example, when you insert the Windows CD into your Tray.. the setup work automatic right??

And you can choose any option that that menu gives you..

Ok I want the Option : Install Windows XP Professional .... And start to Load the CD But after that This will ask you for Serial #. I don't Want That !!!

I Want the Option that start and Do not ask you any serial #...

So this can be Installed By Reboot and Update too.

It will be easy to do this with nlite, and wihtout rebooting it is not possible in my opinion.
