July 27, 201014 yr Guys, here is a direct link to the MSFT update catalog with a query setup for XP updates. It pretty much only works with MSIE and will require the installation of an ActiveX control.Might be of use.http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=windows+xp+update

May 26, 201113 yr There are some updates that you need to integrate into the DVD, does anyone know how?http://hotfix.chris123nt.com/Windows.7/Hotfixes/x86/Integrate%20to%20installation%20media/ Edited May 26, 201113 yr by Legolash2o
May 26, 201113 yr Author You extract them and update the DVD root files with them, some apply to WAIK and boot.wim but not in the auto integration sense, you still have to manually decompress and overwrite files (KB2495879 needs a registry edit)BTW dont go by what the KB articles say about integration into boot.wim, whoever wrote those are idiots who dont know their sh!t

November 13, 201113 yr Author I myself have never had a problem replacing it, make sure you are only doing the one in the sources folder
