Posted July 11, 201014 yr I need to urgently purchase a Cpu and a cheap motherboard. Total Budget is 10K in which i have to purchase ram also. Can someone please suggest a good CPU having virtualisation technology. No matter whether its Intel or AMD. But it should be under 10K with 2GB ram at least.

I have only seen them get to 3.5 -3.7. I have heard that you can unlock L3 cache in Athlon II's but I have never tried. Because of the low L2 cache and no L3, I am not a fan of the Athlon II's as a quad. That looks like a nice setup though.
