Why don't add to Tools Manager a function to merge 2 swm file,not only for split

Because if you have swm files then your source has already been modified and its always suggested to use a new source.

by the way how to merge 2 swm files?

By example if i have two file : "install.swm" and "install2.swm" which is the command to merge together in only one WIM file?

Like Kels said it's always best to use a fresh source, however you can check the WIM Manager tool and try the merge button, if it's not there then i may add the function for the next version.

I do it all the time with this command:

imagex /ref install*.swm /check /export install.swm 1 install.wim "name of image"
