_matt Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 First I have want to thank the creators of this app. I have built a few unattended installs about 1 year ago and it was flawless. Recently I went to update my disk and make some changes. I'm using the same build O/S (en_windows_7_ultimate_x86_dvd_x15-65921.iso) and the BETA WTtools (W7T085-14B and have tried W7T080-37F). I get errors every time I try to install after modifying the wim. I have trouble shot from just adding 1 addon to just 1 silent install to removing the autounattend.xml. I'm lost. Errors I get are:config_initialization_failedError code 0 Quote
Legolash2o Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 (edited) Do you have a print screen? which addon/silent install was it? At which stage of the install does it give the error?Have you tried without the unattended.xml? Edited January 16, 2011 by Legolash2o Quote

At which stage of the install does it give the error?Have you tried without the unattended.xml?Sorry no print screen. Different addons I have tested (Reaper). Silent installs are simple Acrobat or other msi using /qb swith. I always get the error right after first restart after Expanding files 100%, installing features, Installing updates, restart, get ti windows 7 boot screen then error. Quote

myselfidem Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 (edited) You can delete these lines inside your Autounattend.xml, because there are not valid for Windows 7: <servicing> <packageaction="configure"> <assemblyIdentityname="Microsoft-Windows-Foundation-Package"version="6.1.7600.16385"processorArchitecture="x86"publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35"language="" /> <selectionname="Internet Games" state="false" /> <selectionname="More Games" state="false" /> <selectionname="Minesweeper" state="false" /> <selectionname="Printing-XPSServices-Features" state="false" /> </package> </servicing> The BSOD appears sometimes when the Graphic Drivers are installed with Virtual Machine! When that appends to me I create a new time the ISO file and all is working fine!
