xeondj Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 (edited) español: Hola, bueno yo integre el sp1 con ayuda de RT7LITE 2.60 y fue un exito.english: Hi, well I integrate sp1 RT7LITE using 2.60 and was successful. Edited January 17, 2011 by xeondj Quote
Legolash2o Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 Yeah it works for me too, but im still going to add support in W7T Quote
Escorpiom Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Hi Legolash2o,It seems that Rt7lite does really not integrate SP1, based on the final size of the image it is "added" but not "slipstreamed" as we did with Windows XP.How would you go about this with Windows 7 Toolkit? Will the toolkit add SP1 increasing the size of the image or will it be really integrated, overwriting the existing files? It seems to be possible (manually) with DISM but your toolkit has more options so I'd rather use that. Thanks for your work, been waiting for 0.9.0. Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Hey lego?Any clue on when sp1 integration will come?I am dying to get it from the toolkit and not from rt7lite... Quote
Legolash2o Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) Well i have a bug to fix then i will be continuing work on it, ill be using the information from here. What's wrong with RT7Lite? Edited January 23, 2011 by Legolash2o Quote
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 It leaves the files dir in the wim and I have to rebuild with the toolkit or loose even more space. (Very messy!)Besides my custom 33 in one will take FOREVER using rt7lite.With the toolkit version I can select all 32 then all 64 and leave it over a night. Quote
Legolash2o Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) Correction, you will be able to select both x64 and x86 AT THE SAME TIME I've noticed i ran our of HDD space when using RT7Lite lolIt will..1. Prepare both service packs (x64 and x86)2. Cycle through each image integrating it3. Delete temp files4. Done Edited January 23, 2011 by Legolash2o Quote
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Correction, you will be able to select both x64 and x86 AT THE SAME TIME WAIT, WHAT?? Say that again please? Quote
xeondj Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Lego, I've got a perfect integration with rt7lite, perhaps rt7lite esque failure is slow. integration of sp1 can accomplish through full aik.I hope you can integrate w7t sp1, also wanted to know if you can translate it into Spanish. Translates if I like. Quote
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 @ xeondj = Please browse to your install.wim file and open it with 7zip.If you see a folder called files then your integration is not quite perfect. That folder is a MS screw up when the images are taken offline. For some reason they keep the deleted files from the images in the WIM. Quote
Legolash2o Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 If its the folder i think you are on about, then it's removed during rebuild... that's if its the folder i think you are on about It's normally listed on the screen with 1,2,3,4,5,6 depending on how many images you have. "[Files]" Quote
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Ah see I didn't go much further that the integrating sp1 this time.I have tested it in the past though. Quote
xeondj Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) perfect integration, the folder "[Files]" was not created ..... then it's removed during rebuild Edited January 23, 2011 by xeondj Quote
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Yeah I see that now.BTW why add the dark glass to the name? Are you making a distro? Quote

ChiefZeke Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 It's been two months - any information or comments on progress on integrating SP1 using the Win7 Toolkit? I, for one, have been hoping success is close to being achieved. Quote
Legolash2o Posted March 28, 2011 Author Posted March 28, 2011 It worked out to be a bad way to integrate SP1, the images where way bigger and it kept all the old version of files/packages. It's best just to get an image with SP1 already integrated. Quote
ChiefZeke Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Thanks for the answer - looks like an easy solution will not happen. Quote
