hi thanks for a great site. i was wondering if you help with problom with my sidebar. which i installed no problom but only some gadgets work like ie:calendar, digital clock, internet search, iweather, launcher, picture puzzal, run program, system information and some of rhe other programs dont work at diffrent stages. when i select these gadgets they dont show but are listed in properties as running gadgets

I used the installer i think, have you got direct link to file plz as the ones ive read dont correspond to my problom thanks Blunt

Yes your problem is in there... Here is a cmd file that will help

ECHO OFF
CLS
TITLE Sidebar Files Registration
CD "%VAIOTOOLS%"
regtlib.exe "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe"

CD "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar"

.\regsvr32.exe sbdrop.dll

.\regsvr32.exe wlsrvc.dll

Taskkill.exe /IM sidebar.exe /F

Start sidebar.exe

Copy it into notepad and save it as RegSidebar.cmd
