Anyway, that by itself is proof of a reason why file associations are not set by this app. They're easy enough to do after install, and there are several different archiving apps available, not just at least three different versions of 7-Zip available just from Reaper, but also WinRar, WinZip, etc, etc. Different folks have their preferences of which one they like most, and sometimes it's different based on file type, and sometimes circumstances.
