thanks @Kel. I use your config file and it doesn't have "RunProgram="x86:java7_u6x86.msi"

So, when I install it on 64 bit, it install both 32 bit and 64 bit. is there any reason for this? just 64 bit isn't enough?

Maybe the reason is because is missing x86 inside Java7u6_Dual.txt:

RunProgram="jre1.7.0_06x86.msi /qn ADDLOCAL=ALL IEXPLORER=1 MOZILLA=1 SYSTRAY=0 JAVAUPDATE=0 JU=0 AUTOUPDATECHECK=0 /norestart"

RunProgram="x86:jre1.7.0_06x86.msi /qn ADDLOCAL=ALL IEXPLORER=1 MOZILLA=1 SYSTRAY=0 JAVAUPDATE=0 JU=0 AUTOUPDATECHECK=0 /norestart"

And maybe you have IE9 x86 and IE9 x64 on your computer.

If you have any 32-bit browser like Firefox or Opera or any other 32-bit application that depends on Java to function correctly then you need the 32-bit version of Java.

I think most people have 32-bit apps like that installed on their 64-bit systems, which is probably why Kels defaulted to install both on 64-bit systems.

Thanks guys, I understand the big point. If I have 32 bit firefox or any other apps that use java functionality then I should install 32 bit java. This is what I want to know.

Kel, Thanks for this awsome Repack. Just a heads-up. It's a minor detail, but you may want to check the 'Title' found just above the download link to the installer at the top of the post. I believe it ahould read 'Java 7 update 6 dual installer.

Java 7 update 5 dual installer
