March 23, 20159 yr For some reason every single one of the slim and or repacks of net framework and visual basics packages you have available are being reported as malware/trojan. Any clue why this is? Edited March 23, 20159 yr by PJAmerica
March 23, 20159 yr Probably due to the 7zip sfx they are packaged in, but this is a false posI assumed so. I just wanted to know why so I can report it to them with as much detail as possible. Thanks for the reply.
April 18, 20159 yr I'm getting an error with latest version. Installer says 4.5.2. Error during execution "netfx_full_ldr_x64.msi /qb!". The system cannot find the file specified. :
September 15, 20159 yr Unfortunately the latest version doesn't work with Windows XP Professional x64 edition. The previous version from August had no such problem.
September 25, 20159 yr Hi ricktendo, thanks for your effort.Unfortunately I get 2 errors when running the file (dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64_Slim.exe /y)."C:\WINDOWS\System32\msiexec.exe" /i "%TEMP%\7ZipSfx.000\netfx_core_x86.msi" /update "%TEMP%\7ZipSfx.000\KB2468871-v2-x86.msp" /qb!"C:\WINDOWS\System32\msiexec.exe" /i "%TEMP%\7ZipSfx.000\netfx_extended_x86.msi" /update "%TEMP%\7ZipSfx.000\KB2468871-v2-x86.msp" /qb!However KB2468871-v2-x86.msp does not exist in the package.
October 16, 20159 yr Is a forced reboot at the end of the install expected behaviour? Because that's what happens on XP x64 when using the /ain or /aif switches. Using the /y switch brings up a dialogue box asking if you want to reboot now.
November 7, 20159 yr Suggestion*Remove the hashes from the OP as the archive already include it now, so there wont be confusion ! Edited November 7, 20159 yr by NaJeEb303
November 22, 20159 yr Author Updated Off Topic: This installer just celebrated its 4th birthday and I am surprised it is still going, I don't know why but people download 4.0 more than twice the times over (the 3 year old) 4.5/4.5.1/4.6 build. For some reason they still prefer this. Is it because people are still on XP, or are they still using 4.0 on Windows 6x (Vista+) when there is a much better alternative?
January 11, 20169 yr Author Updated installer with latest 7zsd sfx, should reduce any false positive virus warnings
