Have either of you had chance to test it to see if it works with x64 now? Thanks guys!

Will test it, did you update your file, because last test it failed to install...?

It didnt show EULA, but had another issue:

Error.jpg

EDIT: Now I see, it failed, because you used just Random number for product key... :D

Installed Ultimate x64 with your XML file, and it all "Worked Like a charm"... :dancing:

1. Choosing Language

2. Choosing Edition

3. Choosing Partition

All the rest went fully unattended like it should...also user was succesfully logged in...and no EULA was shown and additional questions were asked... :w00t:

Dont worry about it, thanks anyway :)

Nope, the pleasure is all mine ;)

Can confirm that a clean unnatended from build 71 is once again unfunctional. Hope the latest suggestions from other members will be useful :)

Also, a suggestion - maybe it's netter you'd leave the serial blank, and not autocompleted by default with a 7 Ultimate key :)

Ahh so the problem was how the unattend is arranged, at least we know what was causing it! Does anyone know how to make it display the serial key if you have used a different Default key?

I will try:

<WillShowUI>OnError</WillShowUI>

Will report ;)

It takes about 15 minutes to make iso and install it on my 3.6Ghz Q6600 ;)

Yes, Legolash knows it s still broken, but we have solution coming already... ;)

Also, its broken only if you choose AnyCPU as archidecture.

It adds your currently installed serial key, but i'll give an option to disable that by default :P

@myselfidem

the file from post #90

It resulted error too originally.

Here is the customized version of it:

Your ERRORS:

Take care to check all your personnal values!!!

Change:

<RegisteredOwner>Your Full Name</RegisteredOwner>

<Username>myselfidem</Username>

<Value>Same Password</Value>

And check the partitions sizes to your needs!!!!!!

<WillShowUI>OnError</WillShowUI>

wont work for product key, can confirm it.

EDIT: But actually it should, according to this: http://technet.micro...28WS.10%29.aspx

So I used your XML, chose wrong edition, key doesnt match...setup cannot be completed... :(

Altough error is a bit different:

Spezialize.JPG

Makes me wondering, what the hell is: C.\Windows\Panther\unattend.xml ?

Theres no such a file, if I copy autounatended.xml manually to DVD root...

At least XML itself is fixed now :)

Do these values result errors?

I think installation cannot analyse something.

Anyway let me test with my personel values.

I've made all the necessary changes, also when you enter a default key, it will only let you install the version for that key.

Maybe you should also add option, install "version X only", as described here:

http://technet.micro...28WS.10%29.aspx

<ImageInstall>
<OSImage>
<InstallFrom>
<MetaData wcm:action="add">
<Key>/IMAGE/NAME</Key>
<value>Windows 7 HOMEPREMIUM</value>
</OSImage>
</ImageInstall>

Because you cannot "autodetect" other keys and versions?

Also this makes "choosing edition" window unattended ;)
