Exe IE9'u threw it into the language pack was not integrated

I wonder corrected?

For example;

\ IE9-Windows7-x64-enu.exe

IE9 integrated, but the language pack does not integrate

Have not tried the latest version.

In the next experiment will be February 14

Can you give information about the topic @ Lego

Encountered a similar problem. The solution is to add ie9 (ex. IE9-win7_x86.msu) in tab Updates and additionally add IE9-Windows6.1-LanguagePack-x86-xxx.msu in tab silent install without keys.

Unfortunately after adding ie9 doesn't working, some tweaks.

@Tyran;

MSU tried. That way when both of them to work seamlessly integrated separately.

But logically;

When integrating the first to extract the exe ie9'u later;

from within;

IE9 ielangpack-XXX-Win7 and I think that s the need to integrate.

A valuable info on language packs - they integrate ONLY in Ultimate and Enterprise versions of windows 7. More here. Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium and Professional DON'T support language packs. Maybe this info is useful now... :)

So the issue is when using .exe IE9 installer and the MSU works fine?

EDIT: Since this is the only reported problem with W7T and that i don't have any error logs... I'm going to pin this to remind me to look at it, i don't have time at the minute.

Look at this problem here and after:

Install first IE9 and langpack for IE9 and after all updates for Windows 7 you want!

If what myselfidem says works then i will try and make W7T put IE9 at the top of the list, so it gets integrated first but for the time being you can move IE9 to the top using the sidebar buttons.

Hmm... I have chosen not to integrate IE9 lang pack... basically Windows downloads it afterwards, via Update, if youre system has different language than english ;)

exe, and if I open myself;

IE9-Win7.cab

ielangpack-TRK.cab

If we put all the files that work seamlessly.

BUT!

threw it into the exe, that is;

IE9-Windows7-x86-enu.exe

IE9 is seamlessly integrated

BUT!

Language files are not integrated.

Why do you want install IE9-Windows7-x86-enu.exe for your localized version ?

You tell yourself that all is fine and works with IE9-Win7.cab and ielangpack-TRK.cab.

You need only to install IE9 for your localized version!

I think you need to add msu or cab files for updates and not exe files!

I integrate IE9 with msu and language cab file and all is fine!

Or maybe there is something wrong, because with W7T it's possible to add IE9 as exe file ?

then i cannot update it to IE 10 russian later.

i will be forced to install IE 10 english and then russian language pack - right?

i dont like that decision.

why i cannot add it to silent installer and simply install?

and also we see an error occured not because of wrong keys. an error is related to wrong path or smth else. it can occur with other files too if threre is a bug in W7T

Friends;

Are integrated with IE9.exe WT7;

Does not get any error messages;

The only problem is when the language pack exe to load.

---

Not an important detail,

Exe files that can be integrated as an alternative to removable cab.

Or msu packages available.

I just noticed we have declared it.

Ok i've just made two changes.

1. I've added two groups (Priority and Updates) anything in the priority list will get integrated first and IE9 will automatically go into the list.

2. You could add IE9 installer exe to the updates list, however now you have to select *.exe from the file list as some people got confused when trying to add language packs.
