Posted February 24, 201213 yr The "Enable SSL" option does not check SSL v2.0, and also TLS should be enabled (all versions) as TLS has superseded SSL (see https://en.wikipedia..._Layer_Security). And should be replacing all SSL connections in the future.Checking one of these option merely means that the protocol is supported (by IE) and does not cause problems. (unchecking them does if a server doesn't support one of the other selected options, most servers support SSLv3 and TLS these days).Windows 7 stock checked are: SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0 after "Enable SSL" only SSL 2.0 is checked. With only SSL 2.0 enabled you can't even log onto steam (and many other sites)..... March 6, 201213 yr TLS anyway superceeds SSL.In my opinion/practice, at least SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 have to be both checked, or lot of websites will fail.So basically, yeah...they all should be checked for best compatibility. Edited March 6, 201213 yr by Etz
