I was completing my SoLoR updates and went to integrate these to the installation media as referenced in the updates but noticed the version in my source seems later than the version in the update. I checked the KB article and that just further confused me

If i am honest i never use these updates so i can't answer the question, someone else may know though but if your existing version is newer then just keep them.

compstuff, Although this post is over 6 months old, I believe I can answer your question. You probly already know, Windows6.1-KB2495879-x64 is both for RTM but also for SP1 but not SP1-U. From what I can see from the pics you posted your media is SP1-U (Media Refresh).
