But that file type was abandoned over 14 years ago:

WavArc is another abandoned lossless compressor. It was developed up to 1997

So I don't think that it now being used by WinKit will cause any problems, do you?

causes no problem, just saw that information and I remain in doubt whether any problems could cause future but as this abandoned not think so.

Even if a user does still use that program, it only changes the icon so any file associations should still be the same. Thanks for the concern anyway
