ricktendo Posted July 23, 2014 Author Posted July 23, 2014 Most Visual Basic runtimes already included and XML 6.0 SP1 is not needed because operating system from XP up have SP2, XML installers are also language specific so I don't think I will be adding 4.0 Quote
serg130270 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Updated the C++ 14 runtimes to 14.0.21901.1 Quote

mooms Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I have a question about VC++ 2012 & 2013: Why are they splitted into two packages each (minimal & additional) ? On my PC, I have only one package for each for VC++ 2012 (2013 not installed): What's the benefit of the minimal package, and since your installer always install both, why not using the one found here & here ? Quote
ricktendo Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 You have the exact same (multiple) entries but they are hidden and a additional entry is added pointing to the EXE, and the benefits to mine is I have stripped out the EXE and unhidden the MSI uninstall entries... You wont have the EXE and MSI install packages taking up room on your HDD Quote
moitreker Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) ricktendoI ask you a question in the above ! Can you answer? Edited September 15, 2014 by moitreker Quote

molecule Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 (edited) EDIT -- ok, I'm a little slow but I finally got it -- the entire page is an ad. I need to click the little "skip ad" link in the upper right corner to go to the file. sorry for stupid question regards ----I take it I have to install adf.ly "Open Download Ma_nager" using their setup_ODM.exeDoes anyone know if this is a no-footprint no-registry one-time executable, or does it add system fil_es, change the registry, etc.If the latter, then after installing the open downlo_ad manager, how do I reverse all of its impacts?Not complaining about contributing ... just wondering about time involved Edited October 1, 2014 by molecule Quote
molecule Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 can the dl file, VBCRedist_AIO_x86_x64.exe, be integrated in RVMI or nLige as a AddOn? at one time I had an old version which was an AddOn (cab/7z ?) for integration with RVMI or nLite thanks Quote
ricktendo Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 No, not silent installer... You would have to put it in a svcpack folder and make a entries.ini with the silent swithces and zip Quote
