Arkymedes Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Hello all,I'm trying to edit the Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64 and I downloaded the English version via the Win Toolkit.I also used Win Toolkit to download the French LP SP1 x64 version. After I converted the EXE to CAB using the feature found in Win Toolkit. But every single time I try to integrate the LP via the AIO Integrator, it shows as red and the LP is not included.Where can I find the log to check this? Or is some bug? Or?Thank you all for the support.Cheers,/Arky Quote
myselfidem Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Sorry, but it seems it's only possible with Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise Editions!http://windows.microsoft.com/fr-CH/windows/downloads/languagesRegards Quote
Arkymedes Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Hello! Thanks for the answer.I wasn't sure of that because just recently I bought my wife one of those Ultrabooks and it came with Home Premium pre-installed.But during the first boot, it asked to what language Windows should use, and there were all the major european ones. After, since it's Home Premium, you cannot change the language anymore, but the option was there, I'm not crazy!!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:The first boot screen was the one that you are asked to choose language, keyboard and timezone.Oh well, I figured it would be possible then. Thanks! myselfidem Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Yes, it's possible to integrate more languages inside Windows 7 Professional Edition!http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-install-language-pack-in-windows-7-home-premium/http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-install-language-pack-in-windows-7-professional-edition/These examples are on a running Windows 7 OS.However, we can see errors inside: C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\Dism.logRegards Quote
Arkymedes Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) Ok, just tried with an Ultimate version. Same error PS: Just saw your post. Will check it out. Thanks! Edited May 29, 2012 by Arkymedes Quote
Arkymedes Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Argh.. the log file is just too huge and I'm not sure what exactly I should be looking for :/Any help appreciated. Quote
myselfidem Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) You can remove the Dism.log file and try again to integrate language pack.A new Dism.log file will be created.Remember: you need to use every time a new install.wim file "fresh copy" if you have errors!
