Kees030 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Use the 3 CABs, you can also extract them from these installers I've downloaded the x64 from post #1. When I extract it I'm getting 3 exe-files: WUA-Win7SP1.exe, WUA-Downlevel.exe and MergedWuSetup.exe. I've extracted those as well. Both WUA... folders contain 3 cab files, however dates and sizes are different :g: Which cab's should I get to integrate in iso? And I can neglect the MergedWuSetup.exe? Quote
ricktendo Posted July 10, 2014 Author Posted July 10, 2014 The "downlevel" are for XP and Vista, the "win7sp1" is self explanitory Kees030 1 Quote
mannaseen Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Hello, Doing fresh install of Windows Home 64, activated and genuine. Windows update does not complete after "checking for updates" Just stays there forever doing nothing. Tried rebooting. Checked update history and last thing installed: WINDOWS UPDATE AGENT 7.6.7600.320 Could this have fouled the updater? If so, any ideas on how to uninstall the harmful update? Thanks kindly!
