loginvovchyk Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 After installing Windows does not work WinToolkitRunOnce. Installation CD will not eject from the device. Software version 14.0.27. In addition, if you add a CAB archive updates. they are not integrated and are marked in red Quote
Legolash2o Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Need more detail on the first part.Cabs do go green for me, they usually are integrated for 100% proof they have integrated just check the 'Integrated' tab at the end. Quote

myselfidem Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 (edited) About IE9 and language packs, I see there is two language packs (example for French):One include inside IE9-Windows7-x86-fra.exe (full version). Extracted language file is : ielangpack-FRA. CABAnother language pack .cab file inside: IE9-Windows6.1-LanguagePack-x86-fra.msu => Windows6.1-KB982861-x86.cabIt seems - to avoid errors - it's better to use the extracted language pack "Windows6.1-KB982861-x86.cab" using IE9-win7.msu.http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=1944Tested here:http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/150416-msu-version-of-internet-explorer-9/page__view__findpost__p__959478Always install first IE9 and after language pack, and after IE9 updates and all other updates!Errors occurs if some updates are already integrated first!Regards Edited June 30, 2012 by myselfidem Quote
Legolash2o Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Fixed the issue in post #, can't really check the last issue (silent installer) because of all the entries with # in it. Quote
Thiersee Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Why do you install IE9 as .MSU and Language Pack as .CAB?Install IE9 as .exe and language pack as .msu and it will work fine.Regards, Thiersee Quote
myselfidem Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 (edited) To integrate IE9, we have several possibilities:1 - We can also download the full IE9-Windows7-x86-fra.exe (example french version) and extract the files to integrate inside the install.wim mounted image with the two .cab files:IE9-Win7.CAB and ielangpack-FRA.CAB2 - IE9-win7.msu + Windows6.1-KB982861-x86.cab (extracted from IE9-Windows6.1-LanguagePack-x86-fra.msu)And not using: ielangpack-FRA.CAB with IE9-win7.msu. To avoid errors!Tested the two methods successfully!Cheers Edited June 30, 2012 by myselfidem Quote
loginvovchyk Posted July 3, 2012 Author Posted July 3, 2012 In version 14.29 IE language pack can not be integrated, although the order of integration is correct. If you are interested I can send you a script file for the integration of updates. Perhaps in this file you will find the cause. This file is the script integrates all right! Quote
loginvovchyk Posted July 3, 2012 Author Posted July 3, 2012 This order was to integrate the language pack! Quote
loginvovchyk Posted July 3, 2012 Author Posted July 3, 2012 After installing Windows does not work WinToolkitRunOnce. Software version 14.0.29!!!! Quote
ricktendo Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 The lang pack needs to be installed in a second mount session, you need to integrate ie9, then you commit the changes and unmount, then you re-mount and integrate ie9 lp Quote
Legolash2o Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 The whole red/green system is not 100% accurate, about 9 out of 10 cases an update integrates fine even when it shows red. Quote

Legolash2o Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 There should be a 'Enumerating Installation [sOFTWARE\WinToolkit]... (Enumerating Installation [sOFTWARE\WinToolkit]...)' in there as well. Your RunOnce installer is v4.5.1.0 when the latest is 4.6.3.0 Quote
Thiersee Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 I tried just now the 1.4.0.31 and it works: all progs have been installed, what I have put in AIO as silent-install and all updates have been integrated.BTW: german OS and (of course) german updates.@Legolash2o:May be the problem of loginvovchyk are russian characters?Regards, Thiersee Quote

loginvovchyk Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 (edited) In version 1.3 it worked well even with Russian characters! Starting with version 1.4 and above WinToolkitRunOnce does not work. At first I thought it was because The program of the Russian translation, but in the original (English version also does not work WinToolkitRunOnce)I do not understand why WinToolkit version 1.4.32 generates a WinToolkitRunOnce.exe version 4.5.1.0, instead of 4.6.3.0.Does your program around a copy of WinToolkitRunOnce.exe? Edited July 6, 2012 by loginvovchyk Quote
loginvovchyk Posted July 18, 2012 Author Posted July 18, 2012 I seem to have found the reason why is not the correct file is generated WinToolkitRunOnce.exe.After the localization of your program, a program for the localization does not update the old data. To fix this error, I want to send a report to the developer of the program to correct this error. But for this I need your help to find out which module generates a WinToolkitRunOnce.exe? Quote
Legolash2o Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Nothing generates it, it's a completely separate program which i've imported inside the main WinToolkit.exeVisual Studio 2012 RC. C#. Quote
loginvovchyk Posted July 18, 2012 Author Posted July 18, 2012 It seems to me that the background of the installer is very pale and dull. It is necessary to make the background to make the installer WinToolkitRunOnce visually and beautifully Quote
Legolash2o Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I tried giving it a nice colour but they never really showed correctly, to be fair it doesn't really need to be colourful and in your face. Quote
