Remove “Map Network Drive” button

This article will explain the fast way to remove the ‘Map Network Drive’ button from Windows Explorer.

Open registry editor (regedit)

Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies | Explorer

or

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies | Explorer

Create the following DWORD (32-bit) key:

NoNetConnectDisconnect

Double click on the newly created key and set its value to 1.

Close registry editor, restart Windows Explorer (task manager) or restart your machine to apply changes.
